 The Winter Wonderland collection was born out of my longing for Finland's winter and snowy nature, which due to climate change has appeared as rain and darkness, at least in Southern Finland. The inspiration for the fairy-tale Village of Fairy Tales work was Neuschwanstein Castle, from which Disney has also drawn inspiration for Sleeping Beauty's castle, among other things. I didn't want the most common animals for this work, and chose chamois and ermine.
